Cosmetic Nail Problems

Nail problems include breaking of nail plates, black or pigmented lines and sides of nails and swollen nail beds. Diabetes (sugar) is ruled out to start treatment.

Main causes are fungal but psoriasis can also affect nails along with other body parts even in the absence of other lesions. Therefore, proper history and examination is needed before starting treatment.
